BULLETIN BOARDS These bulletin boards are recommended by UKukes website but this in no way detracts from others that you may find. Uke players have their favourites often based upon the formats. Try them all.

Useful and friendly bulletin board run by UK ukist Alli Bee though it is popular with international contributors. It has many useful sections including recordings, technical, theory, luthier, banjo-ukes as well as general uke talk and even a section for just sounding off on any topic. With the kind assistance of Alan Johnson of 4th PEG we now have our own bulletin board. Look down the list of sections and you will see 'UK uke'. Please use the other sections for general uke discussion. This site has a number of different BB sections including General uke discussions, Reviews of ukes, books, Cds etc., Musical Theory and Tips, and a Soapbox for just sounding off about anything. There is also a Music library and a Reading Room. It is a much easier BB software than FMM on which to write since paragraphs etc. remain as you wrote them. Affectionately known as 'FMM' has only one BB but there is a Marketplace for secondhand ukes and other bits and pieces, a very good Online shop, Flashback picture gallery, a Guestbook, and a section that deals with old and unusual ukes.
